Voting for the 13th national parliamentary election concluded peacefully across all six constituencies in Sylhet on Thursday, with authorities now preparing for the counting process.

Polling officially ended at 4:30pm, though voters who were already waiting in line before the deadline were allowed to cast their ballots in accordance with election rules. However, no new voters were permitted to join the queues after the closing time.

Voting began at 7:30am and continued uninterrupted throughout the day, mirroring the nationwide schedule.

Officials reported no major untoward incidents during the election. While a few allegations of fake voting surfaced, authorities described them as isolated cases that did not disrupt the overall voting environment.
